Winds of War - Reviewed (part 0.5)
Info: www.cinefex.com
Just a week ago we reported of a Cinefex coverage of T3. We were contacted to place an article on our site... and would recieve several mags (one for each STAFFmember) to get into reviewing the article and the added pics.
Soon we will add a new Specials section into our website, where we will go deeper into certain subjects. The first will be this Cinefex 28 page article... of which you can view a very small (0.5) review below.
"In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, director Jonathan Mostow picks up the reins of James Cameron's futuristic tale, introduced in his breakout film The Terminator and revisited in the sequel, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Back for a return engagement are the film's star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as creature creator Stan Winston and the maestros of Industrial Light & Magic, who pushed the saga to new heights with a powerful blend of cutting-edge animatronics and digital technology used to depict the Terminator and an even deadlier threat from the future - a T-X female cyborg."
The little review: plusses (+) and minusses (-)
+ 28 pages
+ 32 images (half of them are behind-the-scenes!)
+ Glossy paper (= glossy photos)
+ More a book then a magazine
+ Just 4 stories/reviews in one 140 page booklet
- Cover should offcourse have been T3 oriented :(
- Lots of advertising (although some are T3 related)
- Fingerprint sensative paper/prints (aren't they all?!)
- Typo; Is the article from Barbara Robertson or Joe Fordham?
Try to find some 'hidden' T3 images/ads... not only available around the article itself, but throughout the booklet.
