Terminator: Genesis
By: John Mark Cargile
Main info
Ever since I saw the first 'Terminator' I've wanted to do one of my own, and seeing the other two fueled that desire aswell. I can't say much about the story because right now there's not much. But I can say, to me, it's kind of a 'remake' so to speak, a remix if you will.
I thought the first 'Terminator' was great, don't get me wrong. I just wanted to see what the story would look like in my own 'writing' so to speak.
I'm a special effects guy! Ask anyone I know. I'm using a mix of programs; 3DS Max, FxHome: Effects Lab Pro, and FxHome: Composite Lab Pro. Fxhome has a great website, check them out at www.fxhome.com
I'm using a Sony PV-GS85, with 32x Optical zoom, and Image stabalizer! *grunt* (my folks said that one step up from that is an HD camera). I also am using my dads tripod nothing fancy about that.
My little bro (Matt) will be playing a young John Conner and I myself will be playing the Terminator. Me and my brother are co-directing it and writing it. I've come up with several different techniques to pull of some tricky scenes... but I'm not going to say 'what', because I don't want to give anything away.
I am using Marek Paterczyk's brilliant T-800 Model (also available as another FanProject on the TerminatorFiles website) and also his outstanding HK model (thanx dude!).
Check out the progress, with latest info on top!
